Lenora's Watchog was the first of Lenora's Pokémon seen. She sent it out in the Nacrene Gym where its Illuminate ability lit up the area and showed Yamask up. When Ash challenged Lenora, Watchog battled Ash's Oshawott and won. However in the rematch, it faced against Oshawott again but this time the battle ended in a draw.
